Research Interests:

Currently, I am a lecturer of Computer Science at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. I Lead the TExt Analytics and Mining (TEAM) research group at NJUPT. My research interests include text mining, natural language processing, machine learning, especially on Adversarial-neural Topic Modeling and Neural Topic Modeling. Before join in NJUPT, I got my Ph.D degree from PAttern Learning and Mining (PALM) Lab at Southeast University supervised by Prof. Deyu Zhou.

Most of my recent focus is on Neural Topic Modeling (NTM) and Adversarial-neural Topic Modeling (ATM) . Neural Topic Modeling aims to mine semantic coherent topics/patterns from unlabeled texts (such as online reviews and social media posts) via deep generative neural networks or other textual representation learning paradigm. Obviously, Adversarial-neural Topic Modeling (ATM) is a special case of NTM, which is a novel topic modeling framework and mines topics with adversarial training by using the generator network to capture semantic patterns among texts. 2024.12, Our paper “Semi-VFL: Communication-efficient Few-label Vertical Federated Learning with Stacked Generalization and Model-level Consistency” collaborated with USTC and HFUT has been accepted by ICASSP 2025.
2024.10, Our paper “Mining Topics towards ChatGPT using Disentangled Contextualized neural Topic Model” has been accepted by The 18th ACM International Conference on Web Search and Data Mining (WSDM 2025).
2024.07, Our paper “Bridging spherical mixture distributions and word semantic knowledge for neural topic modeling” has been accepted by Expert Systems with Applications (ESWA).
2024.05, Our paper “DCTM: Dual Contrastive Topic Model for identifiable topic extraction” is accepted by Information Processing & Management (IPM).
2024.02, Our paper “MIT: Mutual Information Topic Model for Diverse Topic Extraction ” is accepted by IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS).
